i used to use the traditional five star rating system, but i’ve found that my definition of a certain amount of stars doesn’t necessarily align with that of most other people. i’ve always viewed three stars as a totally okay and worth reading book, a happy medium. even two stars isn’t terrible. four is really good and five is perfect. most people see three stars as pretty bad, though, so my potential three star rating will be very misleading and throw people off.

therefore i won’t use the five star rating system anymore, but instead i’ll just highly recommend, recommend or not recommend a book or comic. i feel that this will carry over to other readers way easier, and there’s not as much room for miscommunication.
